Who can join?
Anyone! No prior experience is needed, though students wanting refresh previous skills and training are equally welcome.
I've done another course with you, is this different?
This course is unique in its fusion of creativity and skills - exclusively focusing on helping students find their own creative voice.
Having done any of our courses previously would only help in that you would start with some skills under your belt.
I want to learn more advanced jewellery making skills, what are my options?
We are also offering special prices for any additional workshop classes, should workshop students want to advance their skills outside of the allocated time.
A popular option, a number of past students have signed up for the HJI Ultimate programme to help them develop more advanced skills.
What will I finish the course with?
Firstly, students will have earned their Central Saint Martins / UAL short courses certificate.
Students will have presented their final collection in a 2D format, (with wax / workshop items if added on).
Supplementary projects will build sketchbook and model making skills, as well as the technical and perspective drawing.
All together these will create a substantial body of work that will either kick start an ongoing learning journey, help build a portfolio or simply ignite a passion for jewellery and creativity.
