Unleash your creativity with our Intensive Jewellery Illustration & Design Programme.
Perfect for beginners and experienced designers alike, our course will guide you through the creative process, gouache rendering (illustration) and technical drawing needed to create stunning jewellery illustrations. You'll receive expert instruction, live demonstrations and immediate, in-class feedback, ensuring that you receive the support you need to become a skilled jewellery designer.
The Programme is led by HJI’s Founder and Creative Director, Nathalie Melville. An internationally acclaimed, award winning jewellery designer and goldsmith, Nathalie is also the founder of Melville Fine Jewellery.

Technical & Perspective Drawing - 6 classes HK$3,850
This class covers the fundamental techniques of creating detailed and accurate drawings of various jewellery designs - starting with a solitaire ring before progressing to more complex exercises including gems on a curve and 3D perspective.
As an essential part of your drawing skillset draft sketching is also incorporated in this course.
Gouache Illustration - 12 classes HK$6,900
This signature programme covers the fundamental techniques of rendering precious stones in different cuts and shapes in the sought after technique of gouache illustration.
Starting with cabochon and opals and progressing to faceted stones in white, round, fancy and brilliant facets, colours, and pearls.
