Jewellery Making: Intensive Plus Programme

This is a longer and more inclusive course. It will include all aspects of jewellery-making with a more in-depth approach. Students get to truly understand the fine metals and how to completely fabricate a piece from beginning to end. From melting and pouring the metal to rolling, making wire, making tube, master classes in soldering techniques and the design process. The student gets more time to elaborate the design and complete the piece allowing you more freedom/relaxed for a fun packed eight weeks.

Skills:

Level 1 – Introduction to Jewellery making
Duration: 20 hours
Introduction to saw piercing, soldering, filing and finishing techniques

Level 2 - Follow on – (Technical Option / Creative Option)
Duration: 20 hours
Introduce Advance Polishing Technique

Level 3 - Specialist Technique (Wax Carving)
Duration: 20 hours
Introduce Wax Carving Technique

Level 4 - Gem Setting (Bezel Setting)
Duration: 20 hours
Introduction of Gem Setting Technique

No previous experience required.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

All courses are on rolling schedule. Students can pick any day to start their course or combine evening and day classes.

CANCELLATION AND REBOOKING POLICY:

Hatton Jewellery Institute operates a 48- hour rebooking policy on all classes. Late cancellation or absence will result in forfeiting of class or re-booking fee.
