Wax Carving for Beginners

Course Overview

Introduction to wax carving:

  • Learn how to work in 3D

  • Practice core wax carving skills

  • Create a signet ring or medallion / 3D form pendant

  • Cold enamel can be applied in the final class

  • Polishing techniques will be learnt in the final 1-2 classes

Additional Info:

  • Casting fee is included, silver is not (this is calculated at the point of casting)

  • One-week break to allow for casting of the wax into silver

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

No previous experience required.
Age 14 +

All workshop courses are part of our rolling schedule. Students can pick any day to start their course or combine evening and day classes.

CANCELLATION AND REBOOKING POLICY:

Hatton Jewellery Institute operates a 24 hour rebooking policy on all classes. Late cancellation or absence will result in forfeiting of class or re-booking fee.
