Level 3: Special Technique - Wax Carving

Four week long courses are designed to take beginners to advanced level, or to allow those with experience to extend their skills. Each course is distinct, but builds week on week to develop techniques used by professionals. Join a thriving creative community and discover your own creative potential.

Skills:
Level 3 - An introduction to wax carving & other techniques

Introduction to wax carving or repoussé.
The analysis of how to turn design into end product.
One-week break to allow for casting of the wax into silver.
You will design and hand craft a piece of wax of your own choosing in the following sessions.
Casting fee is not included.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

No previous experience required.
Age 14 +

All courses are on rolling schedule. Students can pick any day to start their course or combine evening and day classes.

CANCELLATION AND REBOOKING POLICY:

Hatton Jewellery Institute operates a 24 hour rebooking policy on all classes. Late cancellation or absence will result in forfeiting of class or re-booking fee.
