Introducing our beginner-friendly immersive jewellery making course! In just four weeks, you'll immerse yourself in a dynamic workshop environment and learn all aspects of jewellery making using pre-fabricated materials such as tubing, sheet and wire.

With 16 sessions and 40 hours of total instruction, you'll design and fabricate jewellery pieces from beginning to end. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, our intensive programme will take you through the complete process of creating jewellery.

You'll learn everything from making jewellery pieces with silver, creating moulds, to basic gem setting techniques.

Level 1 - Learning the core skills (10 hours)

• Introduction to Jewellery Making techniques: saw piercing, soldering, filing and finishing

• Draw down silver from bullion to wire

• Behind the heat: Flame science

• Technical Project

• Learn silver melting process, recycling of metals, and understand alloys

Level 2 - Technical development (10 hours)

• Refining existing techniques

• Use more complex forms including hinging, riveting or multiple joints

• Creative Project: Create piece using advanced jewellery techniques

• Technical Project: Create a Signature hinged locket

• Learn to use the rolling mill to roll your own silver sheet

Level 3 - Wax carving (10 hours)

• Discover all aspects of wax carving

• Design, carve and cast a sculptural form – exploring the 3D capability of wax

• Practice different creativity approaches, develop your own style and techniques

Level 4 - Advance Techniques (10 hours)

• Introduction to the fundamental gemstone learning technique, bezel setting.
